I’ve read many of her interview articles and seen her work in collections and magazines. I realized she has this power of “I’m still on progress in life”, and that she is such a powerful and energetic woman. \u00a0Of course I admire her on the modeling career side, but moreover I look up to her as a woman. People think that getting old is a negative action. That is the reason why woman renunciate their desire to look good and pretty. Looking at Carmen, I thought, she doesn’t comprehend “getting old” as a negative thing. She’s always looking straight forward to the future and I feel her ambition in life, even if she is 82 years old. I feel her energy through her work. She makes me feel that I want my life to be like hers.<\/p>\n

Youth will fade away eventually. It’s only a temporary status you get in the life span of about 80~90 years in average. It’s a short period of time- “old” life is longer than “young” life in total if you think about it. But here’s what I think. Youth does not equal to beauty. Youth is equal to “little experience” which equals to “being able to try out things without fear”. It’s not about being pretty or beautiful when you’re young. It’s just being able to do stuff because you don’t know what it’s like yet. But being old equals to “went through lots and lots of life experiences”. And that is sometimes, what generates beauty from the inside. There is definitely a form of beauty that only well-experienced women have.I believe in inner beauty and believe that inner beauty has deep connection with outer beauty. Without knowing Carmen, may be I wouldn’t have even thought of beauty this way.<\/p>\n
