I think summer has finally come! OMG! i’m super duper excited. So now we seriously need to find good summer clothes. I’m going to estimate what’s going to be trending in summer 2014 (to be precise I’m just going to cover things that I see a lot in tumblr and magazines:P)<\/p>\n

All white outfit has been trending for the last couple of years but it’s still alive this year. I know some people prefer all black outfit but I definitely like all white outfit because it looks better with my tanned skin color. Also you have to be careful because white does make you a little bigger than you are. Try and choose white items that makes your style look better, like cropped Tshirt or Highwaisted bottoms, also try a dress that has cut-windows on both sides of your stomach.<\/p>\n

Summer fashion is always about being flamboyant and patterned. Hippie is back alive in 2014 summer, so grab yourself a white laced tank top and pair it up with denim, finish it off with an ethnic patterned bag to get the subtle hippie look. Or you can be extremely flamboyant by wearing an ethnic set-ups. ALso don’t forget about florals, because that’s gonna be trending as well. If you’re not comfortable wearing these “too much” patterns, then try to take it in from the shoes, headbands or inner. It’ll work well as an accent of your outfit and still be trendy.<\/p>\n

Mesh items are definitely going to be the trend this summer. Many brands made mesh items for their summer collections as well. Def a must-have item!! Wear it on a bralette, or get a mesh skirt(don’t worry it will cover up the vip part lol) I actually have one black mesh Tee and remember I got one mesh tank from stussy couple of weeks ago? I can’t wait to wear them. If you aren’t confident showing your skin too much, then pair it up with a ordinary tank top and wear it over that. It’s mesh- keeps you nice and cool even if you wear it over something. I’m planning on wearing my mesh tee over my swim suit at the beach:)<\/p>\n

Head chains are the bomb for summer! There were some head accessories like this last summer as well, but not many people wore it because it wasn’t such a boom. But this summer, I’m guessing it’s going to be trend and everyone will be able to put it on just like a scarf and bandana on your head. It’s dope, hippie, and works well as an accent. The one I’m wearing is handmade(plus I’m not done with it yet lol) but I’m also planning on ordering some of them online.<\/p>\n

Since CHANEL had espadrilles for their SS collection, many brands copied\u2026 no, ‘were inspired’ and made tons of espadrilles for this summer. Honestly, I love it! RANDA’s espadrilles were very gorgeous. Check it out! I don’t have espadrilles yet so I’m gonna have to search for the best one\u2026:P I think the low-heel shoes are trending this summer, so I recommend you get at least one no-heel or low-heel sandals. I’m not the biggest fan of high heels because I’m like one head taller than every girls in Tokyo, but I prefer low-heel shoes anyways; seems like that’s the trend. Of course platforms and high heels are always booming in Japan, I think to get the “in-look”, you should get one low-heel shoes.<\/p>\n
