I was reading an article on Fashionista.com and had a little thing on my mind to share with you guys. It’s all the same in any kind of world people live in – our daily lives, sports industry, fashion industry….. that women were treated as an inferior to men. Men had the bigger power in society and this is the truth. It seems like the gender gap has been narrowed and women are being treated well at work and at home, but still, even in 2015 there are still news on air about “a company that has no female manager” or “women being fired because she got pregnant or any other kind of discrimination against women. It’s the same in the fashion industry- Many of the big maison brands’ designers are men. Tons of Editor-in-Chiefs of a leading magazine are men, even though their main readers are women. Same in sports industry. People tend to focus on male team rather than female team ( although I’m proud to say that in Japan, female soccer team “nadeshiko Japan” and women’s volleyball are very popular in Japan!). It is implanted to our unconscious minds that men are the dominant, powerful ones and therefore the only way we can change this inequality is by TRYING HARD.<\/p>\n

Elena Delle Donne and 3 other famous basketball players and the Connecticut University’s female basket ball team has worked together in order to make this line.
