セレクトショップTomorrowland経営のカフェ”CABAN”へ行ってみた。

今日はとあるところに潜入してきました。

Tomorrowlandはみんな知ってる有名セレクトショップだけど、

そこが経営しているオープンカフェ「CABAN（カボン）」

葉山の森戸海岸沿いにあるんだけど、ビーチサイドというよりはビーチの上の丘にあって海を見下ろす感じ。

アパレルが経営してるだけあって、とにかくおしゃれな空間だった！

海の家とか海岸沿いにあるオープンカフェって砂が舞ったりビーサンの泥で床が汚いとかよくあるけど、ここはそういう感じではなくてかなり清潔感がある。

葉山は昔すんでたこともあって、母親の地元でもあるしかなりりさからしたら身近な場所なんだー。最近どんどんオシャレ化してってる。

Most of you fashion obsessed nylonistas probably know what “Tomorrowland” is; it’s a famous fashion brand/select shop in Japan…. Well this cafe that I went to, called “CABAN” had been produced by Tomorrowland. Fashion brand owning a cafe? It does sound a little odd, but there are many cafes produced by fashion brands these days, like “Tommy Bahama” in Ginza and “Niko and…” in Harajuku. Anyways, this cafe was exceptionally breathtaking. The view, the atmosphere, the wind, nature… everything about this space and location was perfect, so I had to share it with you today. It is located in “Hamaya”, in Kanagawa prefecture Zushi city. It’s a tiny tiny town where there is absolutely no railways or anything. Only some buses for transportation here. I actually lived here before when I was small so I was being very nostalgic today remembering what it was like to spend time in here. I loved being surrounded by nature and spending slow time in this tiny town…

もう少しいくと、到着！

目に入るのはこの開放感あふれるスペース。

ガラスもない。屋根もない。壁もない。あるのは数本の柱のみ。

外の大自然とカフェスペースを遮るよけいなものは一切排除されてる。

Walk a little more and tadaaa! Welcome to CABAN. Heaven in Hayama. Look at how open this space is; no roof, no glass, nothing but some pillars.

ねっころがって風にあたってると最高に幸せ。

白基調で清潔感あるし、ウッドデッキがあったかみあって湘南の雰囲気にぴったり。

DJブースもあったよ。今日は不在でしたが。

音楽はリラックス系の音が流れてて本当に心から落ち着く空間演出！

White based interiors collaborating with wood textiles… Perfect beachy-ness and since it’s produced by a fashion brand, it is so fashionable and sophisticated. There is also a DJ booth (unfortunately there was no DJ performance today).

海に向かってカウンター席もあるよ。目の前の海のパノラマが最高です。

There are also counter seats where you can enjoy the panorama of Hayama’s ocean view. The shore is called “Morito” shore, in case you are wondering.

フードメニューは少ないっていうイメージだったかな。

価格も決して安くないです！

アイスコーヒー７００円とか、スタバよりも断然高い。

だけど、この空間でコーヒーを飲むっていう付加価値を考えたら惜しくはないって感じ。

お酒類もそろってるから飲む人も楽しめるよ。

To be honest, the food and drinks are not too prestigious… Not many food menus, plus everything is super expensive. 700 yen for coffee is not cheap… More than 2000 yen for a lunch plate is definitely not cheap. lol But considering the value of this sophisticated beautiful place, I think it’s worth paying a little money on food and drinks. It’s not like we get charged for being here so that’s the least we can do;P There are non-alcohol drinks like coffee, tea, juices and also alcohol beverages.

今回りさはお昼頃に行って、１２時すぎくらいについたんだけど並ばずに入れたの。

１時間後くらいに出たら、６組くらい並んでた！

サンセットの時間が一番混むみたいです。

お客さんみてると、カップル、家族連れ、女子会ってな感じでいろーんな人たちがきてた。

年齢層は割と高めかな？やっぱり、雰囲気もお値段も大人っぽいですから。

でも子供連れでもOKだし、犬連れでもOKだからファミリーフレンドリーなお店ではあると思う！

平日はそんなに混んだりはしないみたいだけど、週末は集中するって。

人が少ない時間帯は、場所が葉山なだけあって芸能人出没率も高いそう。。。

いろんな人が別荘持ってるからね〜葉山には！

注意点は、雨だとお店がやってないということ。

屋根がないから天気よくないと開店しませーーーん！

そこだけは要チェック。

I went at lunch time, but I didn’t have to line up or anything. We had some drinks and at the time we left, around 13pm, there was a line of more than 6 groups. It is a little crowded… but if you go during weekdays or if the time is not right at lunch or sunset, you don’t have to worry about waiting so long. I saw family customers, couples, girls… all sorts of demographic. Since the price is not so cheap I didn’t see young customers except for the kids with their parents. Dogs are ok so it’s pet friendly and of course don’t hesitate to bring your children! Just remember to check the weather; it’s closed when it’s raining!!
